Cabo San Lucas is one of our favorite Mexico ports. There are beach sports, beauty, Senor Frog, and the Gigling Marlin, where the Marlins hold you up upside down for your photo and much more. All 7-day cruises stop here. Most cruise also stop in Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta where Night of the Iguana was filmed near beautiful La Jolla De Mismaloya.
The longer cruises add the "it" city of the 50s and 60s, Acapulco, and sometimes the quaint village of Zihuatenejo.
Royal Caribbean:
Royal Caribbean's
5-star Vision of the Seas go to Mexico.
This is one of our favorite family ship to Mexico.
This generation of ship offers large, luxurious cabins and public rooms on one
of the most beautiful ships afloat. We love the Viking Crown lounge with 360
degree views and the Windjammer restaurant up front which provides incredible
180 degree views while dining. This 7-night cruise calls on Cabo San Lucas,
Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta.
Princess Cruises offers weekly 7-night cruises on the very niceDiamond
Princess to the Mexican Riviera roundtrip from Los Angeles every
Saturday in the fall, winter and spring. Prices start at about $979 oceanview
& $1199 balconies.
Holland America
Statendam & Oosterdam for 7 and 10-day Mexican Riviera cruise roundtrip from San Diego. The Statendam is an outstanding 5-star ship like the Vision of the Seas. She is a mid-sized ship of about 50,000 tons that holds about 1300 people. She is a premium class ship that has an older average age passenger and generally cost more than the other choices to Mexico. Oosterdam is newer but lacks the old world charm of the older and nicer Statendam.
Carnival:Mexico from Los Angeles - the new 4-star Spirit sails 7-night
cruises to the Mexican Riviera (Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan & Puerto Vallarta)
from Los Angeles. She has been very popular addition to Carnival with many
more balconies than most Carnival ships. Please fill out a quote form to
request a quote.. Typically an inside is $700 to $1000 per person. Oceanview
cabins will be about $150 higher including port charges.
