If you plan to cruise by yourself, you can get a private cabin
typically for about a 25% to 100% premium over the double occuapncy rate.
In other words, you will have to pay about up to double the per
person rate if two people were traveling in one cabin. Some
cruise ships even have a limited number of cabins that hold only
one person.
Luxury Cruise lines typically charge only a 25% single person cabin
premium, but they charge more to start with sine they are luxury
products. It is best to plan well in advance if you would like
to get a single cabin or a singles promotion.
