1. There are big differences between internet cruise agencies?

• GalaxSea Cruises of San Diego tracks prices for you after the sale and have saved our clients thousands of dollars. We recently saved one client $1400, one $2100 and another $2400 when it was time to make final payment. Because this means the travel agent's commission goes down, most agencies never tell their clients about such big reductions. Cruise lines won't tell you about or offer you price reductions you may never hear about. Mega-travel sales sites do not offer price reductions after you purchase. Not us! We want you to cruise again and again with us and tell all your friends. Does it make sense to shop for a $25 lower price now with an company that offers you no chance for a far larger possible reduction after you book?

• At the mega travel sites you may not get to talk to a human and if you do the person may have never been on a cruise so they can only read answers from a script. Calling the cruise line reservations department will put you in contact with an agent paid to take orders for cruises and they may have never cruised before. They are not a good source for getting answers to important questions above. You may also have to stay on hold for a long time and may get very frustrated because you are likely to get three different answers if you call three different reservation agents. Experience teaches us the correct answers.

• Our clients appreciate being informed when they can cruise on a 5-star ship for $25 or $50 more than the 3-star ship with the lowest rates. We think that is the best value.

• We don't handle cruises less than 7-days since we are not as familiar with those products and it is not practical from a business point of view to sell 3 day cruises over the internet. Our focus is on the longer cruises which we know and love.
