Ship Size Comparisons

Does size make a difference and affect the experience when cruising?  As you see the size of the ships, you can see the small the ship, the more expensive per day compared to the larger ships for the same itinerary.  Typically, beverages, WIFI, pre-paid gratuities, shore excursions, and specialty restaurants would be included as part of the amenities of a small cruise/ river line to cater to the finicky guests.  Finding the right balance of amenities onboard along with the perfect destination will give you a much better cruising experience overall.

Your Itty Bitty Ships comprise less than 1000 passengers.  Many of these ships are considered luxury or expedition ships that goes to ports of call too small for many cruise lines to get into Galapagos, Antarctica, Arctic, River, or smaller islands like Tahiti, Southeast Asia, etc.  Many of these ships will be all-inclusive ships with beverage, specialty dining, and pre-paid gratuities included.
