No more Testing Requirements before coming back to the US

The CDC will end the requirement for negative testing before flying back to the US on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at 12:01 am. The CDC will reassess the decision in 90 days. See CDC Order here.

Before this testing requirement is dropped, if you did test positive then you would need to quarantine for at least 5-10 days. Once you are tested negative you would come home. This would mean flights being changed, booking accommodation, and meals would need to be covered. The cruise insurance did come in handy to cover some of the expenses, but not all.

Now with no requirements for testing, coming home will be easier for cruise lines and airlines. No more quarantine overseas if you test positive. You can quarantine in the comforts of your own home and check with your own health care provider.

The rules are easing up and before you know it traveling overseas will be closer to what it was like pre-pandemic!
